How to stay fit during exam preparations?

Are you preparing for any crucial exam like JEE, PMT, AIEEE, UPSE or any other competitive exam, when even fractions of your available time owe to a fixed agenda? Does your time-plan have a bit of it reserved for physical exercise? Most of you would say NO.
A survey conducted by Harvard Medical Journal, analyzing over 500 students had some incredible findings. According to this analysis, just 15-30 minutes of exercise amazingly boosted students’ concentration level and mental alertness. It means just a brisk walk and ride on your bicycle till corner shop will result in your remarkable mental performance throughout the day.
One of best coaching classes for IIT-JEE preparation in India also conducted a similar survey among its students and found that physically and mentally fit candidates performed well in finals.
Usually, students join best coaching classes for IIT-JEE preparation, renowned libraries, study-groups but conveniently neglect to join a half-an-hour Yoga class early morning. Forget a Yoga class, you should voluntarily take out at least 30 minutes in a whole day for your fitness.
Sound mind lives in a sound body. Often we do not keep a tab on our fitness during exam preparation. We totally neglect sports and even avoid walking or cycling and take a mobike instead. As a result, we lead to poor fitness level, lack of stamina, fatigue, obesity, constipation, ill digestion, intestinal gas formation, etc. While preparing for important exams like JEE, AIEEE, AIIMS, UPSC, NTSE, etc we could not afford falling frequently ill or lack of concentration.
Why Exercise Important for Students
-      Exercise is not only good for your health and fitness but also boosts your mental wellbeing.

Mental fitness is the key factor while preparing for IIT-JEE or any other exam for that matter. There are some stages when we feel down or depressed. In such conditions, light exercises and meditation can help immensely. Exercising is the best way to de-stress.
How to Take Time for Exercise
-      You don’t need to take extra efforts to take time out for exercise, you can do it during your study breaks.
-      Start your day with just 15 mins of light Yogasanas. Remember Yoga is the best way staying fit and positive all through your life.
-      While going out for some work, try to go by walking or cycling instead of a mobike.
-      Take a walk with your buddies while discussing any topic instead of just sitting around
-      Do breath-exercises while reading. It’ll soon come in your habit and you’ll then be doing it even unknowingly.
-      Try to sit in Vajrasana in regular intervals for few minutes during reading.
     -      Dance when you feel like dancing
You won’t ever be able to take time out for fitness, you’ve to make it a routine…a way of life. Remember, only a positive and healthy person can contribute constructively to family, society, nation or even to oneself.
All the Best!
